SPV Group were delighted to present our lorry driver Mr Adrian Kinsella with a commemorative Trophy for completing the London to Paris bike ride in early June.
Lucy Watkins, the Events Manager of St Mary's Hospice presented to trophy and thanked Adrian for raising over £4000 for their amazing charity.
“Adrian has done an amazing job in fundraising over £4000 for the Hospice by taking part it lots of activities including fun runs and cycles and his latest challenge which was a 4 day cycle from London to Paris. The Hospice is reliant on supporters just liked Adrian to help us continue to reach more people across Birmingham and Sandwell who are living with terminal illness and on behalf of the patients, staff and volunteers at Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice I would like to say a huge thank you”.
All of Adrian’s work colleagues as well as a number of members of Adrian’s family attended the ceremony which has been organised as a surprise by his work colleagues.
Adrian was entirely surprised and incredibly emotional on the day.
St Marys Hospice is a Charity close to Adrian’s heart as they treated his brother Trevor who was cared for by the Hospice whilst battling throat cancer and Adrian was delighted to be able to give back with his Charity fundraising.
Furthermore, Adrian Chapman- Director of SPV presented Mr Kinsella with his Employee of the month Certificate and Voucher acknowledging the amazing amount of money he raised for such a great cause and the sheer hard work and determination it took to complete the race.
